Our Story
Yippee Kids began over 11 years ago with one grandmother, a sewing machine, and a lot of love.
After losing their family farm in Zimbabwe, Nan Waddell began sewing baby swings and handmade pieces as gifts for her first grandchild. What started as something special for the grandkids quickly grew into a small family business, shared with friends, then friends of friends.
Today Nan still designs and oversees every product herself, supported by her family across New Zealand, Brazil and Zimbabwe.
Every Yippee Kids piece is made with care, creativity and a whole lot of heart.
